Kansas City Event Representative Job ID: 1154 Division: Live Events Sales Location Field Description: TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSTION, YOU WILL NEED TO BE LOCATED IN THE SPECIFIED CITY & STATE SALES FIELD . The WOF Even Representative is responsible for filling the event arena based on the company’s established goals. This included helping Group Leader fill existing commitments and creating new ticket sales opportunities and assist in the close of the sale when necessary. The ER supports and represents WOF on a local level in the event area/state. The ER meets with local church leadership, community organizations and businesses as well as volunteer Group Leaders to educate them and support their role within WOF. The ER will follow all branding guidelines and represent WOF with excellence and maintain integrity in all business practices. 1. Provide Group Leader support and sell through: a) Responsible for the sell through process of commitments made onsite at the previous year’s event as well as all additional commitments she secures during the Even Year. The measurable metric is to maintain less than 25% release rate on all commitments. b) Secure new ticket sales through various outlets such as: new group leaders, churches, schools, local partnerships, and organizations within a 200 mile radius of event city. c) Build and establish lasting relationships within each community, support new and existing GL, and develop local partnership opportunities within the community. This role is to include, but not limited to: • Train volunteer Group Leaders to fill their commitments • Host Women of Faith Sunday in the local churches • Host Pink Lemonade Parties to help establish bonds among GL/Group and ER • Negotiate and work with Group Leaders to obtain payments, and right-size GL accounts in order to ensure accounts do not become delinquent • Host multiple bi-monthly meetings to be held within the 200 mile radius for Group Leader Communication, Account Maintenance and Encouragement • Update and maintain all accounts in Touchbase and PE • Email and customer service issues 2. New Sales a) Make outbound calls to prospective new churches and group leaders and set appointments to meet with pastors in order to secure new ticket sales and find new Group Leaders. b) Continual follow up from previous contacts and potential GL’s for new sales c) Communicate with the marketing department on any opportunities and local partnership opportunities that may exist. 3. Records, Reporting and Brand a) Maintain data base, compile and prepare reports as needed b) Maintain expense control within city according to budget c) Organization of records, notes and general information on all accounts and leads d) Maintain Group Leader Playbook at all times e) Achieve ticket sales attendance goals established for each market. This is the top priority for each event rep f) Tracking of all sales and releases to be maintained by ER g) Utilization of Outlook Calendar 4. Administrate Facebook Page a) Acts as active administrator of city specific Facebook page. Skills: Desired candidate must possess superior organizational skills and be able to speak to groups of people. Must have the ability to acheive travel and home office balance to obtain maximum sales. Experience: Preferred candidate will possess previous sales experience and will be able to provide a proven history of attaining sales goals. Event/arena sales experience is preferred but not required. Education: High school graduate with some college. A degree is preferred but not required.
